Highest Level Security Measures

At CAS we ensure the highest levels of secure document storage in London. We are fully compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998. All current members of staff have signed confidentiality agreements, and have been checked through either the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). All prospective new staff will have a standard DBS / Police background check. The secure gated perimeter is monitored through CCTV Mobotix cameras, MI2 model, to ensure 24/7 secure recording of facilities. Video and audio records are backed up off-site. Redcare security alarms have been installed and are linked directly to the police and fire brigade. Our storage facilities have optical fire beam protection and air quality monitoring systems throughout. To collect and return your documents we have a modern fleet of vehicles, all fully alarmed and fitted with a smart track (Utrack) vehicle monitoring system.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

We use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for many of our clients’ documents. RFID is an advanced system to track clients’ documents providing new levels of accuracy and efficiency far beyond standard barcode management. The system offers ‘asset tracking’ and faster, more cost-effective report generation. CAS RFID systems support strict compliance regulations — including UK and EU privacy requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) — by providing customers with audit reports that confirm and validate the location of every RFID carton in storage.

• ISO 15489, Information and Documentation — Records Management. CAS is the only document storage company in the industry to hold this ISO. This demonstrates that we have achieved all the requirements for the Records Management Industry, and appropriate attention and protection is given to the processing and management of document and file storage.
• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management. We recently introduced Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). RFID is a new electronic system which provides levels of accuracy and efficiency far beyond standard barcode management.
